Our team is made up of a brilliant collective of facilitators, transformation consultants, Agile project managers and coaches. Together, we help leaders, teams and organisations to find their own path, begin to experiment and transform their businesses, one conversation at a time.

Lizzie Benton

As a company culture coach, Lizzie supports organisations and businesses in developing purpose-driven workplace cultures and more autonomous teams. Coming from a marketing background, Lizzie's skills and training is based on new ways of working and self-managed organisations. She has explored many variations of self-management, but has found real alignment working with the Semco Style. 

Lizzie has been recognised as one of the top millennials changing the world of work and has been featured in The Metro, Huffington Post,Forbes and the Financial Times. Lizzie is the founder of Liberty Mind and is best known for her honest approach. She regularly interviews thought leaders and experts on her podcast ‘Make it Thrive’.

Kirsten Buck

Kirsten strives to positively impact teams so that their people can flourish in their world of work. Her focus and passion sit at the cross-section of purpose-led and sustainable business with company culture. An avid and published writer, confident public speaker and experienced workshop facilitator, Kirsten has 12 years of experience across functions, now having found her place in organisation design and the people profession.

She is an experienced Agile practitioner and Semco Style Institute self-management expert. In addition, Kristen is Chief Impact & Culture Officer at PTHR, a growing consultancy in progressive HR and Organisation Design (OD) and a certified B Corporation.

Mark Green

Mark is co-founder of Work Progressive, the UK Licensed Country Partner for Semco Style. He is passionate about co-creating more progressive ways to organise work and developing practices that enhance people’s experiences, enabling them to thrive. He is values-driven, with 20 years of experience in working with a broad range of people to make a positive impact through defining solutions in creative, innovative and pragmatic ways. 

With a background in healthcare and consulting, he set up his own practice in 2020 with the aim to create more people-centric, participative and engaged workplaces. He felt strong alignment with the mission of Semco Style and found it to be the ideal partner to ‘shape the future of work’.

Barry McNeill

Barry is co-founder of Work Progressive, the UK Licensed Country Partner for Semco Style. He cares deeply about how people experience the world of work and has over 20 years of experience working with leaders, teams and organisations to create more vibrant workplaces where people can thrive. He loves to question the status quo and explore alternative paths and non-conventional approaches.

Having worked at several large and boutique consulting firms, he set up his own consulting business back in 2020 with the belief that there was a better way to design and grow organisations so that they were more inclusive, democratic and participative. He found the global Semco Style community to be the perfect partner for delivering on this mission. He is a Fellow of the RSA and part of the Good Work Guild, focusing on the future of work and how it needs to adapt to enable more inclusive, participative work environments for all.

Louisa Scanlan

Louisa empowers leaders to go beyond the transactional to develop truly transformational organisations where people feel valued and inspired. She has over 25 years’ experience working in both SMEs and FTSE 100 organisations and brings an enquiring style and tenacity to make change a reality. She is the Owner and Director of Collaborate Business Solutions: an HR Consultancy using the next generation of psychometrics from Lumina Learning, we are on a mission to develop leaders, moving beyond transactional, to drive lasting change, connected teams and organisations. With clients including WWF-UK, Arla Foods and the NHS, Collaborate are at the forefront of driving change in organisations. Semco Style gives Louisa a framework to drive the change that she knows organisations want to see in themselves.

Perry Timms

Perry Timms is a Chartered Member of the CIPD and ranked the ‘number one most influential thinker in HR in 2022’ (his fifth consecutive inclusion on HR Magazine's list). He is an international and two-times TEDx speaker, along with being an award-winning writer on the future of work, HR and learning. He has had two books published to wide critical acclaim. He is an Adjunct Professor at Hult International Business School and a visiting fellow at Cranfield School of Management and Sheffield Hallam University.
 
He is a recently-certified Semco Style Institute Expert in Self-Managed systems of work. He is the founder and Chief Energy Officer of PTHR, an Organisation Design and HR consultancy that is a Certified B Corporation, a Gold-Standard four-day Working Week organisation, an accredited Living Wage employer and a Climate-Positive enterprise.

Bex White

Bex is a core member of the Work Progressive team and oversees all the event planning, coordination and project management for ourAcademy and Consulting solutions. She is passionate about helping and supporting businesses, and individuals, thrive and be able to fulfil their goals.

Her previous background means she brings a developed, conscientious and organised approach to how she offers day-to-day support to those around her.Her attention to detail and belief that open communication and managing of expectations is crucial on any project, means she efficiently delivers flexible support in an approachable, open and respectful way, helping individuals and her team to achieve the results they want.

Championing our activity here in the UK, our Managing Partners also hold legal responsibility for the work of Semco Style in the UK. They are the founding Directors of Work Progressive Ltd. which is the UK Licensed Country Partner for Semco Style Institute globally.

Mark Green

Mark is co-founder of Work Progressive, the UK Licensed Country Partner for Semco Style. He is passionate about co-creating more progressive ways to organise work and developing practices that enhance people’s experiences, enabling them to thrive. He is values-driven, with 20 years’ experience in working with a broad range of people to make a positive impact through defining solutions in creative, innovative, and pragmatic ways. 

With a background in healthcare and consulting, he set up his own practice in 2020 with the aim to create more people-centric, participative and engaged workplaces. Working in parallel with Barry to lead the UK business, he is an active member of the Pathfinders team, helping individuals and client organisations to draw on Semco Style practices to transform their businesses to create the conditions for autonomy and self-organisation.

Barry McNeill

Barry is co-founder of Work Progressive, the UK LicensedCountry Partner for Semco Style. He cares deeply about how people experiencethe world of work and has over 20 years’ experience working with leaders, teamsand organisations to create more vibrant workplaces where people can thrive.Having worked at several large and boutique consulting businesses, he set uphis own consulting business back in 2020 before connecting up with Mark tolaunch Semco Style in the UK. Alongside his business leadershipresponsibilities, he is an active member of the Pathfinders team, facilitatingand coaching leaders and teams to experiment with Semco practices and bringabout change in their businesses.

Fiona MacNeill

Fiona brings 30 years of experience and expertise in designing learning, development and OD interventions, from community artwork and street work with drug users, to large scale national leadership programmes for over 3,000 people. Fiona is a creative. Her creativity is not just a way to make and do things, it is a way to understand and engage with the world. With this philosophy in mind, Fiona has developed highly successful and innovative programmes and has excited and enabled learners to think imaginatively about the possibilities within their systems and ultimately to define their own future. 

Combining this creativity with a strategic business focus and professional knowledge, Fiona is a role model to leaders, change makers and corporate associates in leading strengths-based change. Working in partnership with, and adding to, the thinking of senior business leaders and frontline change makers, Fiona influences change and innovation by adopting a visible and positive position as a development partner.

Mel Ross

Mel is the founder of The Dilyn Way™, a human and social systems framework for humanising transformation programmes. Mel believes deeply that we are in a unique position to bring humanity back into the business and work through role model leadership.

After experiencing and leading complex transformations client side, as well as various entrepreneurial exploits, she developed resilience to challenge established process-driven transformation. Mel has profiled and worked with thousands of leaders, helping them contextualise and map their strengths and uniqueness to modernity and the transformation agenda. Three mantras ground her work: ‘If not you, then who?’ ‘There is more than one right answer’ and ‘Small is beautiful!’

Perry is an Adjunct Professor at Hult International Business School and a visiting fellow at Cranfield School of Management and Sheffield Hallam University. Perry is also a LinkedIn Learning instructor, a member of the European Organisation Design Forum, the Institute for Organisational Dynamics and The OD Academy. He is a Fellow of the RSA.
